In April 2024, I had the pleasure of capturing the intimate wedding of a charming couple from Brazil in the heart of Tuscany. They chose this picturesque region to celebrate their love with a small gathering of eight close family members.

The location they selected was Montestigliano, a beautiful hilltop village in the province of Siena. This historic borgo, now beautifully restored, offers villas that can be rented for vacations or events, making it an ideal spot for a destination wedding.

From the moment I arrived, I felt an immediate sense of belonging, thanks to the warm hospitality of Giulia, the venue planner. Giulia, an experienced wedding planner, now oversees events at Montestigliano, ensuring every detail is perfect. I also had the pleasure of meeting Francesco, the owner, who made us feel right at home with his friendly demeanor.

The drive up to Montestigliano is nothing short of magical. Lined with cypress trees, the road leads you to a stunning view of the surrounding Tuscan countryside.
The wedding ceremony took place in the quaint church of Montestigliano, accompanied by the soothing sounds of an acoustic guitar and the natural ambiance. After the ceremony, we took beautiful couple photos among the olive trees, bathed in the golden light of the setting sun.
Following the photo session, the guests gathered for a traditional Tuscan aperitivo and a delightful dinner around a fire pit, with a beautifully set table adorned with white flowers and candles.
It was truly a magical experience, and I am grateful to have been part of this special day.
