A million-dollar question, with a somewhat uncomfortable answer: it depends. It depends on many factors, and I certainly can’t list them all here. I’d end up writing an endless article that would take you two days to read.
However, I can tell you about my reality, what I experience firsthand as a professional photographer. I’ll try to give you an overview of what the investment for a wedding photography service might be as of today, November 2024. Stay tuned.

Duration of the Event
How long will I stay with you? The duration of the event significantly affects the price of the service. Will I be there only for the ceremony, or will I stay with you for the entire day? Over time, I have structured an offer that can meet various needs as much as possible. For instance, I often work for just a few hours (max 3) for very intimate ceremonies. Other times, I stay with the couple from getting ready to the cake cutting (8 to 12 hours).

Will I work alone or with a colleague? Hiring a second photographer can often change the final result considerably. First, you’ll receive more photos, and the reportage will be more comprehensive. Additionally, an extra photographer can capture moments you might miss, focusing on your guests, for example.

Travel Costs
The cost of the service must also include travel expenses. If the service ends late and the trip takes more than two hours by car, I usually prefer to stay overnight near the venue. I like to work well-rested and travel safely. When I work, I want to give my best and be super efficient. Rest is the key to success.

To conclude, considering all these factors, my current services range from €500 to €2300, excluding any travel expenses.
